We reserve the right to amend or modify the PetPeeps Rewards program at any time and in any way (including our right to discontinue benefits and expire points if certain criteria are not met, to change the benefits or adjust the number of points earned for each net dollar in purchases).In order to track the rewards and points associated with PetPeeps, it is necessary for PetPeople to have access to certain personal information including name, address, phone number, email address. We will never sell or provide any customer information to anyone other than 3rd parties who may be involved in processing transactions or fulfilling benefits. PetPeople reserves the right to cancel your participation in the PetPeeps program in the event of fraud, abuse of reward privileges, or violation of terms and conditions.
Who is Eligible?
The program is open to any PetPeople customers who choose to sign up for the program. There is no cost to join. PetPeople associates may not join the program or accrue points while they are an associate receiving an associate discount on purchases. Associates who may have accrued rewards before becoming employed by PetPeople are allowed to redeem any rewards, but are not eligible to use their associate discount on that transaction.
How do reward points accrue?
You will receive 1 reward point for every dollar in net purchases at PetPeople if you have your PetPeeps card. The term “net purchases” means purchases less any returns. The store may look up your customer record if you don’t have your card with you in order to put the sales transaction under the proper customer record and ensure it is counted toward your account balance. We will make every attempt to apply all purchases to the correct customer record in the database but can’t assume liability for inaccuracies caused because a customer does not have their PetPeeps card. Certain product categories may earn double points. Those details will be made available to you. PetPeople may choose to award double PetPeeps reward points from time to time. All points are accrued on an annual calendar. On November 1st, 2010, all point levels are set back to zero. Any points that have been accrued (since the last reward certificate was processed) are forfeited at that time. The previous months rewards will be processed prior to resetting the balances.
How are reward certificates redeemed?
PetPeeps reward certificates are generated 1 time each month utilizing transaction data from the previous month. If you have reached a new point reward level during a month you should automatically receive a reward certificate a short time after the end of that month. PetPeeps reward certificates are mailed to all PetPeeps account holders automatically. The value of a Reward certificate will be applied against total purchase price, including applicable taxes and fees at any PetPeople store in Ohio. Reward certificates are non-transferable, non refundable, and have no cash value. Reward is good for one-time use only and must be surrendered at the time of purchase. Reward may not be applied to past purchases. Rewards may not be used to purchase dog licenses. PetPeople does not assume any liability for lost or stolen reward certificates and will not be able to replace these under any circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience.
When will reward points and/or benefits be forfeited?
Any unprocessed reward points and the associated benefits that fall between 2 levels will be lost when the calendar is reset to zero on November 1st. Points are forfeited if a customer chooses to be removed from the system.
